01Independent contractor
You provide delivery services as an independent contractor, not as an employee, partner or agent of TAM Freight. You choose which loads to take, when to work, and how to carry out each delivery. You supply your own vehicle, equipment, fuel, phone and insurance, and you are responsible for your own taxes and for any benefits.
02Eligibility and verification
To take loads you must be at least 18, hold every licence and permit the law requires to drive your vehicle and carry the loads you accept, and pass our identity verification. You must keep your information, vehicle details and credential expiry date accurate, and tell us if anything changes. We may re-verify you at any time, and verification lapses when your credentials expire.
You must carry the insurance the law requires for your vehicle and activity. You are responsible for checking whether your insurance covers delivering for hire.
03Taking and carrying loads
You may hold one active load at a time. Accept only loads you can complete safely and on time. Follow the handling instructions on the load, obey traffic law, and keep the freight secure and within any stated temperature range. Never open, use or divert freight, and never hand freight to anyone other than the stated recipient.
You must record each step honestly in the app: picked up, in transit, and delivered. To complete a delivery, take a photo of the delivery, record the name of the person who received it and capture their signature. False or forged proof is grounds for immediate removal and may be reported to the authorities.
Show your TAM-ID if asked. Recipients can check it on the public verification page.
04Pay
You earn 88% of the delivery fee on each completed load; TAM Freight retains 12%. Payment is credited to your wallet when the shipper confirms the delivery, or automatically 24 hours after delivery if there is no dispute. If a delivery is disputed, payment waits for our decision. You can request payouts as described in the Terms of Service and Refunds & Disputes policy.
05Medical and sensitive freight
Some loads are marked medical. You are responsible for following the shipper’s handling instructions, protecting the privacy of anything you see, and not opening containers. You must not take loads you are not able or permitted to carry. TAM Freight does not provide training or certification for medical transport; the shipper and you are responsible for compliance with the rules that apply to the items.
06Conduct and removal
Behave professionally and lawfully. We may suspend or end your access for safety concerns, false information, repeated complaints, fraud, breach of this agreement or the Acceptable Use Policy, or legal requirements. A suspended driver is shown as suspended on the public TAM-ID check.
07Responsibility
You are responsible for loss of or damage to freight caused by you, and for any fines, tolls and costs of operating your vehicle. TAM Freight is not liable for injuries, vehicle damage or loss you suffer while delivering, except where the law does not allow us to exclude it. The Terms of Service limit our liability and apply to you.
